Summary:
GT Church in Decatur, Illinois is looking for an energetic, engaging, creative person to lead our diverse church family as Worship Pastor. This role is instrumental in the oversight and development of volunteers and leaders within the music ministry team. We are passionate about helping people know God, find freedom, discover purpose, and make a difference. Expressions of corporate worship are key to the development of those values.
Qualifications:
- Exceptional vocal and instrumental skills
- Experience leading Choir/Ensemble/Musicians
- Experience in songwriting and vocal arrangement
Responsibilities:
- Working with the Lead Pastor and creative team to plan Sunday morning and mid-week services
- Cast vision and provide oversight to all aspects of the Worship ministry
- Recruit and equip/develop volunteers in the band and vocal areas
