VIDEO PRODUCER – JOB DESCRIPTION
Classification: Full Time Exempt
Reports To: Creative Technical Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Video Producer is responsible for creating high quality content and inspiring videos. Must have the ability to effectively develop and pitch ideas, offer creative solutions to problems and think of innovative ways to reach a desired audience. The Video Producer will work under the direct supervision of the Creative Technical Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
• Create engaging content in a timely manner that will enhance Summit experiences.
• Leads the charge for capturing and sharing stories of life-change happening in and through our church.
• Produces videos that highlight the story, mission, and purpose of Summit, and communicate the value of the ministry to its members, the community, and the world.
• Joins regular creative and planning sessions to craft creative and engaging worship services and events.
• Multi-camera producing and directing.
• Stays relevant of current and emerging trends in video production and story-telling.

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro, Photoshop and After Effects.
• Self-motivated and driven to create solutions.
• Standard knowledge of lighting for video production.
• Flexible schedule with weekends and some evening hours to be expected.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• High School Diploma.
• Experience in post-production work including non-linear editing, compositing, and motion graphic design.
• Advanced knowledge of video switching systems and cameras.
• Standard knowledge of Production Equipment to include audio equipment and lighting equipment.
• Proven ability to take projects from beginning to end.
• Organized and able to effectively manage multiple projects.
• Action-oriented and displays focus, passion and initiative.
• Must have knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in video production, graphic design and storytelling.
• Relates well to all kinds of people, builds effective relationships, and communicates effectively both interpersonally and corporately.
• Organized, creative thinker and highly productive, working in a fast-paced environment.
• Committed to improvement, seeks constructive criticism, and understands strengths and weaknesses.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Experience working for or with non-profit organization or educational setting is desired.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
